A downloadable Half-Life 2 Mod for Windows

Released in 2017 and last updated in 2019, Intellectual Techno Hell was a roguelite shitpost of a mod., made as a tech demo for a canceled project known as "SMOD3", an SMOD remake.

"Intellectual Techno Hell tells the tale of a mentally deficient military operative who is in for the biggest mission of his life: stopping an evil force who has corrupted the world as we know it. As this operative, you must operate familiar and strange weaponry as you survive in this transformed world. You must move quickly through the environment as you survive hordes of enemies. You also can kick enemies and punch them with real HUMAN FISTS MADE OUT OF RAW HUMAN HANDS.

Randomized Levels: Levels are made using a random level creator, then randomized once you start the game. Every level starts the same, every level ends the same. The way you go through each level is a different story.
SMOD3 Gameplay: This is a early modified version of my upcoming project, SMOD3, which is planned to release next year. This means that duel wielding, kicking, bullet time, gore, and other features are part of the gameplay.
Fast-paced Gameplay: The gameplay has been modified from the original SMOD3, as you can run at a fast speed and double jump.
Strange weaponry: Use weapons like the Revolver Prototype, the Shovel, the Error Launcher, and other weapons to kill enemies. You must find them though."

This newly released itch.io version includes an easy to use installer that allows users to install the standalone version of the mod on the fly.

THIS MOD IS NO LONGER BEING DEVELOPED. THIS IS AN ARCHIVAL RELEASE.

This mod has a standalone release which requires Source SDK 2013 Base Singleplayer on Steam to work properly.
