Hi all, I noticed some people in the Novetus discord server having issues with joining their own server. I plan on adding a new feature in the next version that will make this easier but it’s basically a three step process.

1. Start up your server on the desired client and map.
2. Go to the first tab, do not change anything in this tab. Make sure that the server ip is set to “localhost:<PORT> where <PORT> should match the port defined in your server settings.
3. Click “play” or “join server” depending on your client version.

If you experience issues joining the server, make sure the server is actually started by looking for a “networkserver” object in your roblox studio window. If there’s no “networkserver” object, close the server and client windows, change the port, and try again. You may need to try a 4 digit port in some rare instances. Also, you dont need two Novetus launcher windows to do this. This can all be done with one launcher window.
